CHOP Out Hunger was proud to partner with Bradford/Sullivan Drug & Alcohol and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) to host a community Narcan distribution event on Thursday.

Through DDAP's Overdose Prevention Program, free Narcan and drug-testing strips are provided to certified community partners across Pennsylvania. During Thursday's event, Bradford/Sullivan Drug & Alcohol distributed these state-supported resources directly to community members.

Over the past two and a half years, CHOP Out Hunger has partnered with Bradford/Sullivan Drug & Alcohol on several community outreach initiatives, helping connect local residents with important resources and services.

While our mission is focused on ending childhood hunger, our work extends beyond food distribution. Throughout the year, families and individuals turn to CHOP Out Hunger not only for nutritious food, but also for information, referrals, and connections to programs that can support their overall well-being. Through our backpack program, in-school pantries, pop-up pantries, senior food distributions, and collaborative community events, we have become a trusted resource for thousands of individuals across the region.

By opening our doors to community partners, we help ensure that valuable services and resources are accessible in a familiar, welcoming environment.

We are grateful to Bradford/Sullivan Drug & Alcohol and the Pennsylvania Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs for their partnership and commitment to serving our communities.
